June Midsummer dawn at the Callanish Standing Stones in the west of Lewis
July The Cocklestrand Beach on Barra is famous for the quality of its cockles and also for being the island's airfield.

September South Quay, Stornoway is much used by the large fishing fleet.
October Traigh Sands, Europie on the west side of Ness in Lewis.  The natural arch in the background was said to have been used by the Vikings to "tow the island away from Scotland"
November Manish on the east coast "Golden Road" of Harris.
December Catlebay, Barra.  The Calmac ferry Lord of the Isles reaches Oban and Lochboisdale from here.
