Orkney
There
are several site dating from Norse times in Orkney. Apart from St Magnus
Cathedral and the epynomous kirk, there are churchs in Birsay and Orphir,
on Eynhallow and Wyre as well as a Castle on Wyre and perhaps on Damsay.
Perhaps the most immediate artifacts are the wonderful grafittis in
Maeshowe.
