The Charles Tait Photo Library consists of the results of work by the Orkney-based photographer. Obviously Orkney subjects feature strongly, but the other island areas of Shetland and the Western Isles are also comprehensively covered, as is neighbouring Caithness. Landscapes, Seascapes, Wildlife and Archaeology are particular interests.

In addition Charles Tait has worked all over Scotland, as well as France, where he lived for a time. Diverse other locations such as Venice and Hadrian's Wall also feature. New sections are gradually being added to the Library, and will be coming online gradually over the next few months. The Western Isles is now online, and Shetland will follow soon.
