Kirkwall
Kirkwall
the the main town in Orkney, and is dominated by the 12th century St Magnus
Cathedral. The twisting main street follows the ancient shoreline and
has many attractive old houses. The harbour has been much developed in
recent years but still retains an attractiveness.
