German
Fleet WWI
The German
High Seas Fleet was interned in Scapa Flow at the end of WWI, and was
scuttled in June 1919. Most of the ships were salvaged but several were
not, and now remain as a unique historical site of interest. Apart from
the 3 battleships and 4 cruisers, there are various gun turrets and other
pieces of wreckage as well as the F2 from WWII.
