Birsay
Birsay is on the north west corner of the Mainland and has much to offer the visitor, including dramatic cliffs, fine beaches and several ,lochs as well as moorland and low hills. The Palace and Brough have much of archaeological interest, being the site of Pictish and Norse settlements.
