Orphir
and Stenness
Stenness
and Orphir are separated by the Orphir hills. While Stenness faces the
lochs to the north, Orphir faces Scapa Flow to the south. Both offer
much of interest to the visitor, including the Round Kirk, Maeshowe
and the Standing Stones of Stenness. The hill tracks and nature Reserves
offer good opportunity to see breeding birds and wild flowers in summer.
