Facing the Atlantic Ocean, Sandwick has dramatic coastal scenery particularlyat Yesnaby and Bay of Skaill, and there are fine coastal walks here. The famous Neolithic village of Skara Brae is the main attraction of course, along with nearby Skaill House.
