The
Mainland of Shetland runs from Sumburgh in the south to Fethaland in
the north. The main town is Lerwick on the east side, while the ancient
capital of Scalloway is nearby on the west side. The breakdown is as
follows:
Lerwick:
town, streets and buildings
Lerwick Harbour: seafront and piers
Scalloway: town, harbour and castle
Sumburgh: includes Sumburgh Head and immediate
area
South: includes everything south of Lerwick except
Sumburgh
Central: including Tingwall, Nesting, Delting,
Lunnasting
Weisdale & Whiteness: covers everthing between
Tingwall and Tresta
Bixter: also includes Tresta and Aith and the
area north of Aith
West: covers the area west of Bixter to Walls
and Sandness
Brae & Voe: including Muckle Roe, Sullom Voe
and Dales Voe
Eshaness: including Hillswick and Braewick
Northmavine:
including Ronas Voe, Ronas Hill, North Roe & Fethaland
