Shetland
Shetland
lies about 50 miles from Orkney at the closest point. The archipeligoes
differs in their geography and geology, but there are also many similarities.
The archaeology is rich, though often hard to find, while the wildlife
is in class of its own. Shetland is long and narrow and stretches over
100 miles from Sumburgh to Muckle Flugga. There is a wide selection of
images of the islands on this site which may be accessed by clicking the
links on the left. These represent a small selection of what we have available
- please email or call for more information.
