Vatersay and Sandray
Vatersay and Sandray lie to the south of Barra. Vatersay is now joined to Barra by a causeway, making it much less isolated. It has expansive beaches in the south and a rugged interior. Sandray has a large sandy area on the east side but is otherwise very rough country, though very green.
