There are many interesting "outliers" around the Western Isles. Apart from St Kilda, there are the Flannans with the famous lighthouse, Sula Sgeir with its Gannets, Rona with its Chapel, the Shiants with their dramatic basalt cliffs and the Monachs with a disused lighthouse and now uninhabited machair. All are different and wonderful to visit.
