Rona
Rona is
about 70km NNE of the Butt of Lewis. This remote and delightful little
island was occupied until the 18th century. Today it is home to breeding
seabirds in summer and Grey seals in autumn. The ruined chapel may be
7th or 8th century and is dedicated to St Ronan.
